Our Business

Dennis founded Gillen & Associates in 1990.  He has worked for over eighteen years with numerous businesses in a wide range of industries.

As a management consult he is dedicated to working with business owners and decision makers to help them achieve the next level of success. He recognized he needed to work with clients on a consistent and regular basis.

To complement his consulting practice, he forms and facilitates TAB peer advisory boards of decision-makers in private, non-competing businesses in the Central Valley.

He was a senior partner with Market Assessment International, a management consulting firm, for five years. He worked with Silicon Valley companies from Fortune 500 to high technology start-ups from a global perspective. MAI develops marketing strategies in numerous areas including customer and professional services, branding, and introduction of cutting-edge products. Well-known clients include   H-P, Seagate, Sun Microsystems, and Compaq.

Dennis has over thirty years of management, marketing and management consulting experience in a wide range of industries including chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, computer and software technology, engineering, manufacturing and retail domestically and internationally.

He has broad experience in product, market and business development. He is highly effective in identifying and developing new business opportunities. He has introduced and marketed numerous innovative products internationally for various industries.

He is certified in strategic business planning and utilizing assessments to increase effectiveness in the workplace and in satisfied clients.
